Design Process

Computer generated or hand drawn designs are provided to suit any budget requirement. All clients are met with personally, budgets are established and a plan is created to suit your goals and needs.

1.Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Landscapes inspire emotion. Do you want to create a place of relaxation, a place of excitement, modernism or earthy creativity? Each home is different, and we love to play with different spaces to find different solutions.

2.Talk about it.

Initial consultation includes a meeting with the client to discuss all aspects of the landscape design.  A client’s requirements, including lifestyles, preferences, potential uses, plant schedules, construction, and budget are taken into account.

3.Survey it.

A site survey is conducted to specify property measurements, soil types, existing trees and ground slopes.  Here we find out what’s possible, problem solve, and understand our parameters to build concepts that fit.

4.Conceptualise it.

Based on the clients brief, a concept plan is drawn, which includes several options for materials, plants and other design details. Rough sketches can also be used. The Concept Plan is used as the basis for the Master Plan.

5.Build it.

The Master Plan is drawn up with the final layout inclusive of all plantings, plant schedules, materials, design and construction details including all other specifications. The client receives digital copies and paper copies on request.

6.SHARE IT.

Once every stone has been laid, and your dreams for your home are turned into a reality, it is time to share it with family and friends. Our journey doesn’t stop here - we are here to help with any on going maintenance to keep your landscape prime.
